roll over, roll over....

Makena fell asleep first, then Naomi came in and went to bed. Makena woke up a few hours later and wanted lay down with her sister. I came in and put here back in her bed. Then before I went to bed I checked on them one more time. This is what I found. Makena asleep in Naomi's bed, totally taking over. You can't really see it in this picture, but Naomi's butt is falling off the edge. I thought this was funny.

Oh Makena......

So, the first time Makena broke Naomi's glasses, we were able to fix them. I don't think we are going to be so lucky this time.......

Coat rack.....where have you been all my life

So, for the last 2 years, when we come in our house, coats, shoes, and bags end up on the floor in the entry way. Makena is now pulling EVERYTHING out of EVERY bag she can get her hands on. So a few weeks ago we were at Target, and I saw a section of coat racks like this one. I thought to myself "self, you have a huge wall behind the door. Why don't you get one of these, and then your stuff won't be on the floor anymore." So that is what I did. It was only $20, and I made Mike hang it up that night. I LOVE MY COAT RACK. It is the most amazing thing. I just now have to get in the habit of putting everything there.

Maya's Baptism

My niece Amaya was baptized a few weeks ago by my father in law. Naomi was so excited to go and see it happen. This weekend, we are going to another baptism. Naomi isn't too far away from her own, and it will come way to fast for me. What great examples she has in her life.

I'm back..........

Well, it has been way too long. We finally have internet in our home, (1st time since we got married almost 7 years ago) and a semi working computer, so I thought I would give this a go again. I told my sister Kayla, who moved to Utah after getting married in December, that I would try blogging again so she wouldn't miss out on our lives. Naomi started Kindergarten in the fall and is loving every minute of it. Makena is a typical two year old. She is interested in using the "potty"now, which I am ok with. I am still working full time. Mike is almost done with his paramedic program. We got a dog, Gunner. He is an 8 year old english lab. He is a great dog and we love having him around. Life is super busy, but it won't last forever (that is what I keep telling myself) . Here are some pictures of what we have been doing the last little bit.
